就 + Topic + 來說/来说 or 而言 + Comment

It is a common Chinese phrase that can be used to introduce a new topic or to express one’s opinion on a certain matter. It is often translated as “with regard to,” “speaking of,” or “as far as…is concerned“. And 來說来说 láishuō is more casual than 而言 éryán.

Common Mistakes

就 jiù is used to introduce a new topic or idea, rather than to move on from a previous related topic. If you want to talk about the previous related topic, you need to use 至於至于 zhìyú.
