Before we look up the date and season words in Chinese, let me introduce you to a little bit about Taiwan. In terms of weather, the three spring months (Mar.-May) in Taiwan are a gradual transition between dry and rainy seasons. The average daytime temperature in March is 23 °C (73 °F). It’s still too cold for water sports, but you can enjoy the hot springs in the mountain with cherry blossoms.

Summer is hot, humid, and showers. The average temperature here is about 35 °C (95 °F) and humidity reaches 82%. But you can have a lot of fresh fruits, a bikini, and air-conditioning.

November is cooler at about 24 °C (75 °F). The weather is windy so it is preferable to choose activities which are not connected with the sea. Such as , hiking, riding a bike go around Taiwan.

Winter in Taiwan is not really cold. The temperature is 14 °C (57 °F), but the humidity will make you feel much much colder!

OneDotDot Chinese

Whenever I ask foreigners, "Do you speak Chinese?" they often reply, "a little bit" (yì diǎn diǎn). That inspired me to create this website and translate "yì diǎn diǎn" into the quirky and fun "One Dot Dot."

It’s also a reminder that learning Chinese is a journey, and progress happens one step at a time. By learning just a little bit every day, you’ll go far!
