If you have Taiwanese friends, you may hear them say “Hey! Nice Shirt! Does it cost one kid? ” Don’t be scared, we are not human trafficking! The real meaning of this sentence is “Is the price more than 1000NT?”
In Taiwan, the main feature on the front of the 1000 NT bill is the four elementary students in class, huddled around a globe. Because of this, this bill is known as the “four children”, but actually there are six children on the bill! Can you find them all?

Do you like it? 🙂

OneDotDot Chinese

Whenever I ask foreigners, "Do you speak Chinese?" they often reply, "a little bit" (yì diǎn diǎn). That inspired me to create this website and translate "yì diǎn diǎn" into the quirky and fun "One Dot Dot."

It’s also a reminder that learning Chinese is a journey, and progress happens one step at a time. By learning just a little bit every day, you’ll go far!
