Yoga Types

  1. Hot yoga:熱瑜珈热瑜伽 – rè yújiā
    。
  2. Hatha yoga:哈達瑜珈 / 哈他瑜伽 – hādá yújiā / hātā yújiā
    。
  3. Vinyasa yoga:流動瑜珈 / 流瑜伽 – liúdòng yújiā / liú yújiā
    。

    。

In Taiwan and China, yoga centers can be run by individuals or by chain studios. Chain studios tend to have multiple locations and a standardized approach to teaching yoga, while individual studios may have a more personalized approach. Classes are usually scheduled throughout the day, with peak hours in the early morning and evenings. Some studios may also offer classes on weekends and holidays.

Whenever I ask foreigners, "Do you speak Chinese?" they often reply, "a little bit" (yì diǎn diǎn). That inspired me to create this website and translate "yì diǎn diǎn" into the quirky and fun "One Dot Dot."
