Grammar Point:
In Chinese, 走 zǒu can be used after a verb as a complement. It means that an action causes something or someone to move away, disappear, or be taken away.

Structure

Verb + 走 zǒu

他tā拿ná走zǒu我wǒ的de手機shǒujī他tā拿ná走zǒu我wǒ的de手机shǒujī
He took my phone away.

妹妹mèimei帶dài走zǒu了le我wǒ的de書shū妹妹mèimei带dài走zǒu了le我wǒ的de书shū
My younger sister took my book away.

他tā跑pǎo走zǒu了le他tā跑pǎo走zǒu了le
He ran away.

風fēng把bǎ我wǒ的de帽子màozi吹chuī走zǒu了le风fēng把bǎ我wǒ的de帽子màozi吹chuī走zǒu了le
The wind blew my hat away.

我wǒ的de錢qián被bèi他tā搶qiǎng走zǒu了le我wǒ的de钱qián被bèi他tā抢qiǎng走zǒu了le
My money was snatched/stolen by him.

那nà本běn書shū他tā取qǔ走zǒu了le嗎ma? 那nà本běn书shū他tā取qǔ走zǒu了le吗ma?
Did he take the book?

我wǒ被bèi你的nǐde樣子yàngzi給gěi嚇xià走zǒu了le我wǒ被bèi你的nǐde样子yángzi给gěi吓xià走zǒu了le
I was scared away by your look. (get scared and run away)

我wǒ沒méi搶qiǎng走zǒu你的nǐde工作gōngzuò, 是shì你nǐ自己zìjǐ做zuò不好bùhǎo被bèi炒chǎo了le我wǒ没méi抢qiǎng走zǒu你的nǐde工作gōngzuò, 是shì你nǐ自己zìjǐ做zuò不好bùhǎo被bèi炒chǎo了le
I didn’t take away your job. You got fired because you couldn’t do it properly yourself.

V得走 dezǒu / V不走 bùzǒu

When 走 zǒu is used after a verb, it can form a potential complement to show whether an action can or cannot cause something to leave / be taken away.

你nǐ的de錢qián我wǒ拿ná得de走zǒu嗎ma?你nǐ的de钱qián我wǒ拿ná得de走zǒu吗ma?
Can I take your money away?

這些zhèxiē東西dōngxī你nǐ都dōu帶dài得de走zǒu嗎ma?这些zhèxiē东西dōngxi你nǐ都dōu带dài得de走zǒu吗ma?
Can you take all these things with you?

這個zhège箱子xiāngzi太tài重zhòng,我wǒ搬bān不bù走zǒu这个zhège箱子xiāngzi太tài重zhòng,我wǒ搬bān不bù走zǒu
This box is too heavy; I can’t carry it away.

他tā臉皮liǎnpí很hěn厚hòu,怎麼zěnme罵mà也yě罵mà不bù走zǒu他tā脸皮liǎnpí很hěn厚hòu,怎么zěnme骂mà也yě骂mà不bu走zǒu
He is so thick-skinned that no matter how much you scold him, you still can’t make him leave.
