Why you should read news?

To enhance your reading skills, some individuals choose to read books, but 95% of them end up giving up before completing the first chapter. Why? Because the book is too lengthy, requiring too much time to finish. However, news articles are different; they are short and can be completed in a single day.

Another reason I recommend reading news is that you can discuss these topics with anyone. If you opt for a book, you always need to find someone who has read it and is still interested in the subject.

OneDotDot Chinese

Whenever I ask foreigners, "Do you speak Chinese?" they often reply, "a little bit" (yì diǎn diǎn). That inspired me to create this website and translate "yì diǎn diǎn" into the quirky and fun "One Dot Dot."

It’s also a reminder that learning Chinese is a journey, and progress happens one step at a time. By learning just a little bit every day, you’ll go far!
