親自亲自 qīnzì has a small family of related words — 親耳亲耳 qīn’ěr, 親眼亲眼 qīnyǎn, and 親手亲手 qīnshǒu — each pinning the personal involvement down to a specific sense or body part.
1 Structure
S + 親自亲自 qīnzì + V + O

In addition to 親自亲自 qīnzì, there are other phrases that can be used to emphasize personal involvement in different aspects:
親耳亲耳 qīn’ěr
This phrase emphasizes personally listening or hearing something.
我親耳聽到了他的感謝我亲耳听到了他的感谢
I heard his thanks with my own ears.
親眼亲眼 qīnyǎn
This phrase emphasizes personally seeing something.
我親眼見證了這一切我亲眼见证了这一切
I witnessed all of this with my own eyes.
親手亲手 qīnshǒu
This phrase emphasizes personally doing something with one’s own hands.

I handmade this gift.
2 Common Mistakes
親手亲手 qīnshǒu is specifically for actions done with one’s own hands — using it for something that isn’t a hands-on action sounds off. For general personal involvement, 親自亲自 qīnzì is the safer, broader choice.

Attending a meeting isn’t something you do “with your hands,” so 親手亲手 qīnshǒu doesn’t fit. 親自亲自 qīnzì works for any kind of personal involvement, hands-on or not.
