The object still sits right after 把 bǎ把 bǎ — what’s new here is who or what can be the subject, and how much more can happen after the verb.
1 Structure
(1) Subject (Inanimate) + 把 bǎ把 bǎ + Object + Verb + Other Elements

A Cultural Note
The idea of a “假想敵 jiǎxiǎngdí假想敌 jiǎxiǎngdí” (imaginary enemy) shows up in more than just military strategy, where it’s used to train soldiers to anticipate an opponent’s moves. In everyday life, people sometimes use this phrase to describe someone they’ve cast as a rival — even if that person never intended to compete with them at all.
