晚上吃什么？
What's for Dinner?

今天是星期五，爸爸下班晚，妈妈也很累，不想做饭。妹妹说：“我们去饭馆吃饭吧！”哥哥说他想吃面条，爸爸说他想吃米饭和鱼。妈妈笑着说：“那我们去一个又有面条，又有米饭的饭馆吧。”

他们去了公司附近的一个小饭馆。那里的菜很好吃，可是人很多，他们等了二十分钟。妹妹说：“我饿了，想先吃点儿水果。”服务员给了她一个苹果。

最后，他们点了鱼、米饭、面条，还有一个青菜。哥哥说面条太辣了，喝了很多水。妈妈说：“下次我们在家做饭吧，又便宜，又不用等。”大家都笑了。

Jīntiān shì xīngqīwǔ, bàba xiàbān wǎn, māma yě hěn lèi, bù xiǎng zuò fàn. Mèimei shuō: “Wǒmen qù fànguǎn chī fàn ba!” Gēge shuō tā xiǎng chī miàntiáo, bàba shuō tā xiǎng chī mǐfàn hé yú. Māma xiào zhe shuō: “Nà wǒmen qù yí ge yòu yǒu miàntiáo, yòu yǒu mǐfàn de fànguǎn ba.”

Tāmen qù le gōngsī fùjìn de yí ge xiǎo fànguǎn. Nàlǐ de cài hěn hǎochī, kěshì rén hěn duō, tāmen děng le èrshí fēnzhōng. Mèimei shuō: “Wǒ è le, xiǎng xiān chī diǎn(r) shuǐguǒ.” Fúwùyuán gěi le tā yí ge píngguǒ.

Zuìhòu, tāmen diǎn le yú, mǐfàn, miàntiáo, hái yǒu yí ge qīngcài. Gēge shuō miàntiáo tài là le, hē le hěn duō shuǐ. Māma shuō: “Xià cì wǒmen zài jiā zuò fàn ba, yòu piányi, yòu bú yòng děng.” Dàjiā dōu xiào le.

Today is Friday. Dad got off work late, and Mom was very tired and didn’t want to cook. Little sister said, “Let’s go eat at a restaurant!” Big brother said he wanted to eat noodles, and Dad said he wanted rice and fish. Mom smiled and said, “Then let’s go to a restaurant that has both noodles and rice.”

They went to a small restaurant near the company. The food there was delicious, but there were a lot of people, so they waited twenty minutes. Little sister said, “I’m hungry. I want to eat some fruit first.” The waiter gave her an apple.

In the end, they ordered fish, rice, noodles, and a green vegetable dish. Big brother said the noodles were too spicy and drank a lot of water. Mom said, “Next time let’s cook at home. It’s cheaper, and we don’t have to wait.” Everyone laughed.
