Let’s go to the Zoo

Xiao Ming is an eight-year-old boy. Today, he went to the zoo with his family. He loves animals very much, so he was looking forward to this outing with his family. Xiao Ming prepared a small backpack, which contained some candies and a bottle of water. He also put on his favorite red shirt and blue pants.

As soon as they entered the zoo, Xiao Ming happily ran to see the animals. He first went to the monkey area. He saw many monkeys jumping around in the trees, which was very interesting. Then, he went to the elephant area. The elephants were eating, and Xiao Ming found it strange how elephants eat with their trunks. He even gave some grass to the elephants, and they took it away with their long trunks, which made Xiao Ming very happy.

After seeing the monkeys and elephants at the zoo, Xiao Ming started to feel a bit tired. He found a tree and rested under it. At this moment, he saw an ice cream truck. He told his mom that he wanted to have ice cream, but his mom said no because it was too expensive and sweet. His mom took out candies and water from Xiao Ming’s backpack and gave them to him.

At four in the afternoon, Xiao Ming and his family left the zoo together. On the way home, he thought that next time, if he sees the ice cream truck, he will ask his dad instead of asking his mom.
