Reading Passage

小狗的故事
Story of a Little Dog

小明有一只很可爱的小狗，它的名字叫小白。小白是一只很聪明的狗，他们总是一起玩耍。每天，小明都会带着小白去公园散步。他们经常看到许多人和其他的狗。

有一天，小明和小白在公园里遇到了一个陌生人。这个人看起来很友善，他向小明打招呼。小明和他说话，但是小白觉得很害怕，它躲到了小明的脚边。小明告诉小白不要害怕，因为这个人是好人，没有危险。

最后，小白相信了小明的话，它开始和这个人玩耍。他们一起玩球，小白玩得很开心。当他们离开公园时，小白对小明摇摇尾巴，好像在告诉小明谢谢他带他出去玩。

从那以后，小明和小白经常去公园和其他人和狗玩耍。小白不再害怕陌生人，它变得更加勇敢，也更加爱玩了。

Xiǎomíng yǒu yìzhī hěn kě’ài de xiǎo gǒu, tā de míngzì jiào Xiǎobái. Xiǎobái shì yìzhī hěn cōngmíng de gǒu, tāmen zǒngshì yìqǐ wánshuǎ. Měitiān, Xiǎomíng dōuhuì dàizhe Xiǎobái qù gōngyuán sànbù. Tāmen jīngcháng kàn dào xǔduō rén hé qítā de gǒu.

Yǒu yìtiān, Xiǎomíng hé Xiǎobái zài gōngyuán lǐ yù dàole yíge mòshēngrén. Zhège rén kànqǐlái hěn yǒushàn, tā xiàng Xiǎomíng dǎzhāohū. Xiǎomíng hé tā shuōhuà, dànshì Xiǎobái juéde hěn hàipà, tā duǒ dàole Xiǎomíng de jiǎobiān. Xiǎomíng gàosu Xiǎobái búyào hàipà, yīnwèi zhège rén shì hǎorén, méiyǒu wēixiǎn.

Zuìhòu, Xiǎobái xiāngxìn le Xiǎomíng dehuà, tā kāishǐ hé zhège rén wánshuǎ. Tāmen yìqǐ wán qiú, Xiǎobái wán de hěn kāixīn. Dāng tāmen líkāi gōngyuán shí, Xiǎobái duì Xiǎomíng yáoyáo wěibā, hǎoxiàng zài gàosu Xiǎomíng xièxie tā dài tā chūqù wán.

Cóng nà yǐhòu, Xiǎomíng hé Xiǎobái jīngcháng qù gōngyuán hé qítā rén hé gǒu wánshuǎ. Xiǎobái búzài hàipà mòshēngrén, tā biàn de gèngjiā yǒnggǎn, yě gèngjiā ài wánle.

Xiao Ming has a very cute little dog named Xiao Bai. Xiao Bai is a very smart dog, and they always play together. Every day, Xiao Ming takes Xiao Bai for a walk in the park. They often see many people and other dogs there.

One day, Xiao Ming and Xiao Bai met a stranger in the park. The person looked friendly, and he greeted Xiao Ming. Xiao Ming talked to him, but Xiao Bai felt scared and hid next to Xiao Ming’s feet. Xiao Ming told Xiao Bai not to be afraid because the person was a good person and not dangerous.

In the end, Xiao Bai believed Xiao Ming’s words, and he started playing with the person. They played ball together, and Xiao Bai had a great time. When they left the park, Xiao Bai wagged his tail to Xiao Ming, as if to say thank you for taking him out to play.

From then on, Xiao Ming and Xiao Bai often went to the park to play with other people and dogs. Xiao Bai was no longer afraid of strangers, and he became braver and more playful.
