Grammar Point:
In Chinese, the phrase 越 yuè…越 yuè… is commonly used to express that the degree of something increases with another situation.

Structure – 越 + Adj. + 越

S + 越 yuè + Adj + 越 yuè + Adj or V

It is important to note that 越 yuè…越 yuè… should not be followed by words that indicate a change or high degree, such as 很 hěn, 非常 fēicháng, 太 tài, 起來来 qǐlái, and so on.

房子fángzi越yuè大dà越yuè貴guì房子fángzi越yuè大dà越yuè贵guì
The bigger the house, the more expensive it is.

When it comes to placing an object in a sentence, avoid placing it after the verb. Instead, move the object to the beginning of the sentence as the topic.

Negation

越 yuè + … + 越 yuè + neg- …

This is actually the same pattern as the one mentioned earlier, but its different English translation makes it worth paying attention to. It becomes “The more… the less…”

你nǐ越yuè逼bī他tā學xué， 他tā就jiù越yuè不bù想xiǎng學xué你nǐ越yuè逼bī他tā学xué， 他tā就jiù越yuè不bù想xiǎng学xué
The more you push him to study, the less he wants to learn.
