Etymology fact
The term “pòfáng” originated from multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games, where it described breaking through an enemy’s defensive towers or armor. In internet culture, it metaphorically shifted to human psychology—describing how a piece of art, a touching video, or a kind word easily pierces through a person’s tough emotional armor.
